Lofthouse Specialties was created by incorporating both Matt and Julien’s talents. They worked together on several projects ranging from remodels, custom homes, and additions to commercial buildings. Some of the time they would do the complete project/build and other times they did aspects of the project as a subcontractor under other general contractors. Together, they continue with keeping up with all the new building trends and educating themselves about new products and the installation of such products.

Lofthouse Specialties’ original name was Altech. Altech was founded in 1994 by Matt Lofthouse in Utah. He started as the sole proprietor doing siding, soffit + fascia, and rain gutter installations. Over the next five years, window and door replacements along with metal roofing were added to the businesses list of services. In 1999, Matt earned his general contracting license and teamed up with his wife, Julien, who is an experienced interior designer.

Red Rock Interiors was established in 1991 by Julien Lofthouse in Utah. Services provided were all types of window coverings and custom draperies along with interior design services. Julien provided design services and capital improvement for three different casinos, some restaurants, and individual homes for 18 years as a sole proprietor.
